About Recordings For Recovery Recordings for Recovery (R4R)
was founded as a non-profit music Library in 1958. R4R was established
to promote the use of music with special populations to enhance their
quality of life.
What is Recordings For Recovery?
R4R is a specialized service that provides a unique and broad selection
of musical programs. Persons who are institutionalized, homebound, or
otherwise limited by disabling conditions may be considered eligible for
R4R.
How is R4R Funded?
R4R is funded primarily by donations from foundations, businesses, individuals
and service clubs.
Membership
There is an annual membership fee of $10.00 for an individual, $20.00
for a therapist's mobile use, or $25.00 for a facility. If you are unable
to pay this amount, the fee may be waived.
